Here is a stunning new old stock from 1981:
OMEGA SEAMASTER DATE SCUBA 120M - QUARTZ
Reference # 196 0230.
Swiss men's dive watch. Full original parts. Stainless steel all ( ss Omega jubilee bracelet). Unidirectional rotating bezel.
MOVEMENT CAL 1337: Quick set hour and date by the crown, allowing the change of the hour and date. At 2 o'clock: the pusher for the correction of the minutes and seconds.
I believe this Seamaster 120 is the first quartz watch dive created by Omega, the movement 17 jewels calibre 1337 developed by Omega (before replacement by ETA calibers). It is the first Omega caliber to be equipped with EOL (End Of Life) indicator of end of life of the battery.
- This ultr-flat deluxe diver's watch was successfully and brilliantly tested by the Frenchman Jacques Mayol (1927 - 2001) during his famous free dive (a dive with no breathing apparatus) to a depth of 101 metres, on the 4th of November 1981 off the coast of Elba Island, Italy.
The watch is in excellent NOS condition - (never worn)
