SILVER OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH CHOPARD - LUC (LOUIS ULYSSE CHOPARD)
A very rare Swiss sterling silver pocket watch made by the famous Swiss firm Chopard. This watch has been manufactured around 1880-1900. The movement is in excellent working condition. The Swiss made 15 jewels anchor escapement movement has a winding mechanism through the crown at twelve. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition with black arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and gilt hands, the cuvette decorated with images of exhibition medallions . Diameter of the watch excluding the crown is 50 MM. The silver casing has some normal dents from use, otherwise in fine condition. Dial and casing show the Chopard logo and so does the movement .
The watch is in great running condition and keeps time very well.
