OMEGA DE VILLE 8405 260 OMEGA De Ville Jeu d'Argent sterling silver 925 watch designed in the 70s by Andrew Grima, the famous London jeweller, for Omega. The bracelet and case are hand crafted in silver and are stamped 925. It has a safety clasp with the Omega logo embossed in silver. Silver back case Numbered 8405 260. Signed manual wind calibre 625. OMEGA movement serial n: 38065022. Case size 26 x 23 mm excluding the crown. The watch runs keeping very good time

Andrew Grima:
Mr. Grima was honoured with an impressive array of prizes including twelve Diamonds-International Awards. He was the first jeweller to win the Queen's Award for Export in 1966 and is the only jeweller to have won the Duke of Edinburgh Prize for Elegant Design. In 1970, at about the same time he was designing for Omega he was appointed jeweller to Her Majesty the Queen. He was commissioned by Omega to create a highly aesthetic avant-garde collection.
